We are rejoicing about the Governor signing the heartbeat bill into law. God is so very Good! This means we will have more women coming to Informed Choices Medical Clinics needing medical care, support and resources… which we will be happy to provide! We will just need to increase our budget. This is our time to shine as pro-life Iowans. The rest on the world will be closely watching how we care for mothers and children at risk.

That you can order an abortion pill on-line with out a physicians prescription from a physician and have it delivered right to your home.
She felt abortion was her only option. A young beautiful girl walked into one of our clinics last month and wanted to know if she was pregnant. The nurse administered the test, then she and the sonographer took her to the exam room to confirm her pregnancy with an ultrasound. At that time, we didn’t know that she had taken the abortion pill two days before her appointment with us. She ordered the abortion pill online, without a prescription from a doctor nor was she under a physician’s care. She didn’t even know if the abortion was successful at that point. She was scared, in pain and didn’t want to be alone. The abortion was happening right in front of our eyes and there was nothing we could do but gently comfort and love her. This is the new reality of abortion in Iowa.

Telemedicine: Expanding Our Reach
Help us implement our digital, pro-life technology, an online clinic that can be accessed when young girls search for “abortion.” An ICOI nurse then directs them to a nearby ICOI. Our goal was to launch in June, we have had to push our start date back because we we still need $150,000 to make this possible.
